When I was growing up here, it was hard to find Christmas trees to decorate. We had an artificial one with cardinals and blue ornamental balls, The last time we were here when the kids were young, we made a Christmas tree out of colored butcher paper.
Last weekend, we went to the Japanese Walmart, called Seiyu and bought a tree and some ornaments. I had the kids pick out the size and choose the colors for the tree and we decorated it. We quite like it!

I like it too! Looks like you are all having a great time there in Japan. It has been quite windy here in CA; lots of damage and school districts closed down due to it.
